THE THEORY AND HAZARD PERCEPTION TEST
The Theory test is made up of two parts. The first part is a 50 question, multiple choice test.
The questions are based on various subjects, all to do with driving. To prepare yourself for this part you will need to learn the Highway Code and there are other materials available via mobile apps and many websites whereby you can take practise mock tests. Learning to drive with Safedrive includes assistance and training to help.
The second part of the test is a hazard perception test. This consists of watching 14 short videos of driving situations and you have to quickly recognise developing hazards as you would see them happening on the road ahead.
To pass you have to get a minimum of 43 questions correct out of 50 and score a minimum of 44 points out of 75 on the hazard perception test.
